well im about 20 something days shy of my 26th birthday. I think I may skip celebrating this year. I got other shit to think about. I'm gonna be making some power moves in 09. You know really do some shit. What I'm thinking about is stacking my money and build my own damn studio. I am gon do my music shit again listening to the wackness on the radio and on the internet makes me wanna get popping again. Honestly the hottest rappers to me don't get radio play here.

Back to the matter at hand. My studio it doesnt mean I'm giving up the radio thing I'm gonna take a step back from it. I don't know if I wanna do radio in Cleveland, They may not be ready for me. I'm too real. I feel like Cleveland guys should do Cleveland radio. Not transplants. But wait if I leave I'll be a transplant. Damn. Fuck I digress. Anywho I think I am tailor made to do Cleveland radio and talk Cleveland sports. I AM CLEVELAND and everything it embodies. I have the style, pizazz, charisma and confidence. Most importantly I'M FROM CLEVELAND. If you not from here you shouldn't be able to talk about my town FUCK THAT.

Christmas Blog

CDecember 25 Woke up a little upset not really in the Holiday Spirit. Feeling really lonely you know. Missing my son and all. So even though I'm bummed out I put on my best happy face hanging otu with my peoples. I'm blessed to have my gramndmother and my family because some people have no family at all. I some pretty cool shit too. My uncle got me a nice dress shirt I can rock to job interviews. My grandmother got me som cool ass pajama pants they fleece so I don't freeze my fucking nuts off in the winter. My aunt and uncle got me a thermal ya'll know me and my thermals LOVE THEM. I got some fresh colonge from my sister and brother in law.

Although I'm not into it this year it was Therapudic to be with family. Keep me from going crazy. Seeing the kids helped out alot my niece is growing up and I love to see that kids are so cute and innocent that small. I went on to the Cavs game that night what a game. The confetti dust was cool too 20,000 people throwing the confetti it looked great. Going and leaving the game My brother in law was bumping Kanye West 808 and Heartbreaks album. GOD If I don't hear Kanye again I won't be pissed I've been singing Pinoccio Story for the last 5 days. lol. Well that was my holiday I'll holla.

It's Been A Long Time

Shit why do I wait so long to blog. I said everyday but....... I ain't even gon lie I get tired of this shit. This was my week as of last tuesday I blogged this at the Cavs Rockets game.

I'm at the Cavs game I get my sound from coach Mike Brown. Mike is probaly the best dressed Coach in the NBA. Dude be fresh all the time. Then I go to get sound from Rockets coach Rick Adleman. He's kinda short about 5'11 or so. Then I took a lap around The Q just taking in the pregame atmoshpere. I love the live band that plays in the concourse they jam they get it poppin. The Cavalier Girls were dressed in white. Damn they are fine. The Rockets are in town so you know what that means.....Yao. There were alot of Asian people there. I got kind of mad because they were everywhere taking pictures and shit and I'm trying to walk.

Anywho continuing my walk I see the Scream Team. Maybe I'm being biased but they are the best dance team I've seen in a while (shout out to King Head Spin). The girls are cute that are on the Scream Team.

Back to my seat there was this dance team out on the floor and I,m not a dancer but they weren't good at all. Then some high school Cheerleader from Grand Valley High and I went back to watch Sportscenter.

The music at The Q was actually rockin Steph Floss has stepped up his game. Funny thing every time I come to The Q and look at the retired numbers I always wondered why World B. Free's number 21 isn't hanging up there. Oh well I'll get my answer one day.

10 mionutes before tip and I'm watching one of my favorite NBA players warm up Ron Artest. I'm happy I get to see him play in person. Ya'll already know i say Lebron and Shaq are the biggest basketball players I've ever seen in my life well add Ron Artest to that list lol. The crowd was a late arriving crowd and the media section was dead too just a few newspaper writers that I don't talk too only guy i speak too frequently is Jeff Phelps. Nobody else I just come do my thing and leave. Well I'm gonna end this one because I'm running out of shit to say.

Weekend Muh Fuckas

Well the weekend is here and I'm sooooooooooo happy. I don't have to work all weekend and I have a special visitor coming, so I will be in desposed.

Now my sorry ass Cleveland Browns play the sorry ass Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday Fuck can i get another ball game in my area. I'm not ballin I can't afford NFL Sunday Ticket.

Braylon Edwards is pissed off at Browns fans. Hey B how about u join me on Public Square to mush some of them. Fuck em don't worry Bruh i appreciate you. I know you work your ass off to win ball games keep goin, and rember theres always next year.

Cavs are hot in Denver the OK City can we just skip that one Ok City sucks I can get a couple of brothers form each hood in Cleveland and we could beat the OK City Thunder by 10. They come home to play the Rockets next Tuesday I will be in the building for that.

How about Brandon Roy against the Suns hanging up 52. But did you see Shaq dunk on Greg Odens head. Damn. Oden How My ass taste? lol. Is it me or doesn't Greg Oden look AT LEAST 10 years older than Shaq?

Isn't Kid Cudi The Truth? I can't get enough of Day and Night or Cleveland is the Reason.

My favorite rapper drops an album in Febuary. Joe Budden Padded Room. Hopefully Him Royce Crooked I and Joell Ortiz Drop the Slaughterhouse album. Wasn't Slaughterhouse and Onslaught the illest songs of the year? The Stack Bundles extra verse is my one of choice I know Stack would've been apart of that group.

I Told You So

After the Ohio State Buckeyes get embarrassed once again on national television i have a few things to say first I TOLD YOU SO!!!! Second sit Boeckman and start Pryor. 3 James Lil Animal Laurinautis is OVERRATED. Fourth Jim Tressel is NOT that great of a Head Coach. Fifth Beanie would NOT have made that much of a difference. I have reasons for all 5 here we go.

I told you so: This one is pretty self explanatory. I've said it countless times last week leading up to the game. I said 2 touchdowns but 35-3? Never would've guessed it.

Sit Boeckman Start Pryor: Todd Boeckman needs to sit and Pryor NEEDS to start. Boeckman looked like a deer in headlights. looking at him and mark Sanchez i couldn't tell who was the senior starter and who was in their first year as a starter. who started in the BCS Championship game last January? meanwhile Pryor may have looked like a freshmen at times but the offense moved better with him in the game. that sounds so familiar (2005 prime time Troy Smith Justin Zwick?)

Lil Animal: James Laurinitus may be an animal in the Big 1 and Little 10 but against the big boys he's ordinary. look at the last 3 big games 07 and 08 BCS Championships and Saturday v USC not impressed at all. I think his draft stock has fallen BIG TIME and Rey Maluluga is the best LB in college football and he should be the first LB off the board come April.

On to Tressel: In my eyes he's not what everybody thinks. (Say it with me now OVER-RATTED CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP) OK now run it down for me 3 title games 1 title big 10 titles 6-1 v Michigan (yawn) ya'll done? Janet Jackson had a song out about 20 years ago remember it? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR ME LATELY? The answer is 3 big games and 3 ass whippings by a total of 114-41. That's not a big game coach. That's not the mark of of a great coach.

Finally Beanie: The excuse monster is gonna say "if beanie would've played it would've been different. Eh............... Nah. Beanie played in the BCS Championship and was the best player on the field result LSU 38 OSU 24. Need I say more.

In closing I'm just gonna say that this was the last straw for the Buckeyes. Any 2 loss SEC team would make the title game before they go back. 19 starters? You have got to be kidding me. This team won't be in the title game or ANY BCS game this year. I'm saying this now They will lose to Wisconsin and probably Penn State and end up in the Capital One or the Outback Bowl where they will get run by yet another SEC team ( Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee). Finally Buckeye fans I TOLD YOU SO. Maybe next time you will listen to the Buckeye Hater. Gosh I love being right.

My Thoughts On The 2007-08 Cleveland Cavs

It was a year of ups and downs. A year of injuries and trades. A year year of inconsistances. The 2007-08 Cleveland Cavs can be summed up with one word. HELP!!! Thats what LeBron James needs. Sure they brought in help at the trade deadline. Delonte West a point guard. Wally the shooter. Big Ben the enforcer (allegedly) and a veteran Joe Smith. At the time on paper the trade looked good butnow that the season is over lets revisit it shall we? Did the trade work? Yes and no. Yes because you now have your point guard of the future. Joe Smith is a vet whom you can keep around until he retires. Wally found his stroke when he moved into the starting lime up for the playoffs. Why do I say no? Big Ben is not the player he was in Detroit. He looks old and slow and at 33 years old he definitely wouldn't be in my future plans. It took Wally forever to find his jump shot and hes in his 30's as well. I knowyou are thinking Joe Smith is on the wrong side of 30 too but Joe is not a starter. Wally and Ben were starters. There are a few guys that i would love to see the Cavs go after. First Delonte, and Boobie are restricted free agents. Joe Smith is a free agent re sign those guys. Devin Brown and Dwayne Jones are also free agents we can go with out those guys. Besides those guys here are those guys. No Gilbert Arenas or Shawn Marion isn't coming here. They are pricey and they are in the prime of their careers so no Agent 0 or no Matrix. However i do have a list of free agents and potential draft picks that could help the Cavs out.


Bonzi Wells- A veteran swingman who has been through playoff wars with Portland, Sacremanto, Houston and New Orleans. He would help out Cleveland in a major way. He's a guy who can post up 2's and 3's and has a good mid range game.

Ron Artest- Ron Ron wont come cheap so I kind of doubt this one. As much as Cavs fans don't want him he makes sense to a team that I have compared to a breakfast food. He brings toughness and he could be LBJ's bodyguard. Plus Mike Brown Knows him he was the guy who dragged Ron away from the brawl at the Palace a few years ago.

James Posey- Cleveland native, long at 6'8 good defender and above average shooter. Need I say more?

DeSagana Diop- Sure he was garbage when he played here before but that seems like a long time ago. He's a 7 footer who can defend. He doesn't bring alot offensively but thats not why I want the Cavs to bring him in.

Rueben Patterson- Another Cleveland native superior defender and can post up smaller guards another guy who would come cheap.

Elton Brand- At 6'8 I would love to have E.B. he's coming off of a nasty injury some teams may shy away from him but if im Danny Ferry I'm chasing my fellow Duke Blue Devil. Inside post presence and has a decent mid range game.

Jay Williams- Another Duke alum who has been out of the leauge for a while but I've seen him play recently and he looks great. Thers your other point guard right there. Him and Delonte.

Draft Picks

Chris Douglas Roberts- If he falls all the way to the 19 then that would be a travesty. But it would make me a very happy man CDR could be LBJ's Scottie Pippen. At 6'7 can play the 2 or the 3 he's long and has a mid range game the dude can score from almost anywhere.

Brandan Rush- The Kansas swingman i think will be there and i think the Cavs should pick him there. 6'6 with incredible range. Ok defender. Possible 2 guard of the future.

Bill Walker- Definitely won't be around this long but hey can't a brother dream? 6'6 and explosive. Even after surgery. Him and LeBron an the court together would be Phi Slamma Jamma 2k8.

CSU Football Why Not?

In my short time on this earth I have always been a sports lover. I have played just about every sport possible. I even thought once in my life that i would play collegiate sports. There is one thing that has been bothering me for about 15 years or so. Why doesn't Cleveland State University have a football team? Cleveland Ohio is the best football town in the world. With the most loyal (althought not very wise) fan base. I think the people of Cleveland would get behind CSU football. There is alot of talent in the Cleveland + market. So why doesn't the second largest city in Ohio not have a Division 1A program? Why do the talented ball players in this city have to go 200+ miles to play ball at home? I want CSU football and I want it now!!

The one constant i keep hearing is is no facility. Uh hello Krenzler Field anyone? Its right on campus and they just renovated the place. How much more would it cost to add 7,000 seats? Or that could a temporary home until they build a small 10,000 seat stadium. Trust me with a footbal town like this that place would pay for itself in 3-5 years. It would also keep Cleveland kids at home. Picture this, CSU Vikings with Troy Smith at QB Beenie Wells in the back field flanked by Ginn and Gonzo. You mean to tell me that you wouldn't go see them? Please they would have to move games to Browns Stadium. Also imagine the rivary with Ohio State, Akron, Kent State and all the other "local" schools.

The only thing that worries me is the fan base. All these Buckeye lovers who have never come within spitting distance of the Horshoe or the campus. You know the people who say if you are born in Ohio then you are a Buckeye, but wnet to college at Youngstown St. or Toledo and would root for Ohio State instead of their alma mater. What a joke.It would be like the Cleveland State Ohio State game played at the Q last December full of scarlette and gray sweaters and Hang on Sloopy. I understand tradition but Christ! That only goes for peoplewho WENT to Ohio State. If Buckeye lovers showed that kind of passion to CSU football it would work.

In closing i just want to say CSU needs a football team, look at what it has done at South Florida. They started from scratch and look at them now they used to be laughing stocks, but they built them up and now people are talking about them. Thats how it would start off for Cleveland State, but give them a shot and you will see the results.

Question Cav fan. Would you all be complaining if Damon Jones said Gilbert Arenas was overrated? What about if Big Ben layed wood to Caron Butler? (my favorite player Kobe Bryant is included). Back to You Cleveland why would it be ok for a Cavs player to do something physical and its just a hard foul? But someone does it to a Cavs player and it's dirty? You can't be serious. I love the Cavs but fans sit back and think about that. Boxing aint dead yet

as a boxing fan it pains me to hear people talk about how boxing is dead and how there are no more good fights out there. well take a good look at the pay per view numbers from 2007. Floyd mayweather jr. generated over 3 million buys in 2 fights. to all of the mma fans (this is no knock on mma i actually enjoy those fights) but has mma done half of that?or even a third of that? i understand why people like mma. however anyone can do it. im my personal opinion you dont need that much skill to do it. i know alot of those guys have skills but most of them look like some crazy dudes who couldnt make it in the wwe or just wasnt good enough to be a professional boxer. do some of these guys have skills of course the do rampage, lidell, corture, tito, and the shamrocks to name a few. but i think id could cut it in mma. i have a wrestling background and ive been boxing for as long as i can remember. back to my point boxing is still alive and kicking (or punching lol) however some people think that as the heavyweight division goes so does boxing. buzzer wrong. although it has been a little shaky since the retirement of lennox lewis. boxing has been just fine since then matter of fact it has been better. with fighters like mayweather ricki hatton oscar dela hoya who is the biggest draw in boxing period and bernard hopkins and with shows like the contender 9which is far better than the ultimate fighter). the sweet science has been around for over 100 years and its not going anywhere. mma is an alternative for people and it will be around for a long time. its room for both of them. with street fighting legend kevin kimbo slice ferguson entering the mma ring and guys like kelly pavlik and miguel cotto tearing up boxing everyone can be happy. but to all mma heads lets see ufc or elite xc sell out madison square garden or staples center. better yet fill up an out door stadium with 100k fans. until then boxing is king mma might be on the scoreboard now but it still has a long way to go to catch the sweet science. boxing aint dead its jus taking a lil nap and no one wants to wake up a sleeping giant.

08 and Beyond

OK here's the scenario. 2008 IS MY FUCKING YEAR!!!! i got some good shit happening in my life. first off i wanna thank everyone who has tuned into the don and tony show on sportstalknetwork.com thanks to u all (haters included) for making the show successful and the best show on Internet radio period. keep tuning in to it monday thru friday noon till 2 pm. im also apart of am mayhem which has gone to 5 days a week 9 am till 11 am featuring myself Paul Belfi and Jen Hovrath. if u haven't checked that out u should do so. and making its triumphant return is the squared circle boxing show starring yours truly on saturday april 19. (still negotiating that with the bosses) so I'm getting fitted to wear the crown as the king of Internet radio once again. (come to think about it i never lost it).
besides all of that going on at stn we are about to drop a newspaper called the stn journal check it out u gonna love it.and finally the stn swimsuit calendar in which we are accepting applications for models now. so all my sexy ladies who want to be apart of this BIG 18 month calendar holla at ya boi. plus so much more that i cant even talk about yet DON P GOT HIS FUCKIN SWAG BACK.
i feel so good and my swags at an all time high. shit im young im so handsexy i cant control myself (handsome + sexy = handsexy for u slow people) shit im lobbying for so much shit this year. locally i want to be recognized as Cleveland's favorite radio personality. jus venting a lil bit

im sitting at work bored as hell so i decided 2 vent a lil bit. now as u know i turned 25 last monday and ive been thinking about alot of shit. like making some changs in my life. u know weeding out all of the bullshit and dead weight. and most importantly be a better father to my son. also keeping up my never ending search for dina i think i found her but im not so sure. ill hold on 2 her and see how it goes. but back 2 the thinking there are some people in my life that im jus gonna cut loose im shrinking my already small inner circle. i dont need alot of people around me like that anymore im a grown ass man not a lil boy. and i dont need that kind of energy around me anymore. i got big shit popping for 2008. my shows doing very well.
