As all of my Clevelandnites know Sam Sylk left theh city again and they are looking for a replacement. I'm throwing my hat into that ring. I feel like I need to be that dude from 2 to 7 in Cleveland so Cleveland I NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!! I need you all to write, call, email, 107.9 and tell them that you want me Don P in that slot. Tell them that there is no other dude that will put on for the city like me. Happy Hump Day
Hump day is upon us which means the week is OVER!!!! I just wanna say that I feel real good today. I don't know why but I do. My mojo is on a hundred thousand million lol.
Any who the NBA Finals start tomorrow and I'm rolling with the Lake Show of course I am those whi know me know that I've been a Laker Fan since 1988. Hey that should be a NBA T-Shirt campaign the team color and it should say fan since whatever year you remember first rooting for them it could be your birth year who knows. I am such a fucking genius. I should work at an add agency anybody know any thats hiring????
Why the fuck is ESPN Still talking about LeBron?? They must be bored. Listen up 4 letter network HE'S STAYING. So what he's not gonna sign an extention this summer we all knew that. We also know why he didn't sign the max deal a few years ago. The NBA CBA is up next year. That's why Wade or Bosh didn't sign the max either. So stop reaching it's getting on my last fucking nerves.
Good luck to The Unit Randy Johnson going for win 300 tonite.
Am I late but Spike TV is one of the illest networks. They have some crazy show. Yes everyone watches the Ultimate Fighter but Pro vs Joes is the shit, Mike Irvin's 4th and Ten is ill but the best show on the network is Deadliest Warrior where the pit knights up against pirates and shit like that you gotta check it out.
I'm all over the place today but Shout out to Rodney Harrison the Ronnie Lott of the 00's. Good luck at NBC.
Slaughter House album needs to drop this year. It's crucial to hip hop so is Charles Hamilton, Kid Cudi (Cleveland stand up) and the rest of the guys I didn't mention thats in their category.
Keri Hilson, Beyonce, J Hud, female R and B is almost as hot as it was in the 90's. Notice I said almost.
Whatever happened to the 4 or 5 man R and B groups? New Edition, Boys To Men, Jodeci, Dru Hill? Why do the groups now drop 1 or 2 albums then break up and never get back together.
I think Ne-Yo, The Dream, J Holiday and that new nigga Jeremhi shoul start a group. They all sound alike and they sing about the same thing. Just a thought.

Well.........................
First blog entry in a month. Sorry for the delay I've been tryna get shit right on the homefront. I've changed over the past month and change. Starting off I cut my hair. Yes I DID IT!!!!! I thought it would feel funny but I still look the same. I didn't think I could get any sexier than I was but I guess God can improve on near perfection. lol. Ok now here are my thoughts on some shit.
Cavs lost to Orlando so my dream series of my hometown team and my childhood team will have to wait until ( fuck I hate these words) next year.
I'm not mad at LB for not shaking hands after the game. He didn't do it last year after the Celtics series. Plus remember back in 2001 after game 5 of the NBA Finals Derek Fisher had to chase Allen Iverson up the tunnel to shake his hand. Why is everything LB do such a big fucking deal to ESPN. I'm sick of Skip Bayless old ass talking shit on first and ten.
Watching LB talk yesterday gave me indication that he did indeed wanna stay here. The 09 free agent crop isn't that bad i see some names that jump out at me. Lamar Odom, Ron Artest, Chris Wilcox, Brandon Bass, to name a few. Andy is a free agent that should be the first priority.
LB's Yankee hat I dont give a shit. Fashion statement. It's his favorite team so fucking what. ESPN needs to stop reaching for stories on LB. Just because he wears a Yankees hat doesn't mean he's going to New York. Mo Williams wore a Atlanta Braves hat on Rome is Burning. Does that mean he's going to play for the Hawks.
Ok on to other business. I have decided to get some shit going on my own. In a year or so Blast Off Media Group will be up. I'm talking Internet Radio Station, Record Label, Movie Production and anything else I want to put out there. In due time it will be up. I made this decision because I don't wanna leave the city to get it popping. I wanna do it here and since people don't know talent if it robbed them in an alley I'm gonna do it.

NBA Playoff Preview
The time has come Playoff time. Here's a little something that I put together for each team.
Eastern Conference:
1. Cleveland Cavaliers 66-16: Best season in team history, 39 home wins, the best player on the planet (LBJ) and best off season move (Mo Williams) The stars may be aligning for the wine and gold to hoist the trophy.
2. Boston Celtics 62-20 Back to back 60 win seasons for the defensing champs. The big 3 may be minus 1 but they are still one of the top teams in the NBA with Paul Pierce,Ray Allen and a seasoned bench.
3. Orlando Magic 59-23 Great ball club with the best big man in the NBA and a lethal 3 point attack. The possible return of PG Jameer Nelson makes this team deeper and moe dangerous.
4. Atlanta Hawks 47-35 It's feeling like the 80's again and Phillips Arena feels like The Omni. The high flying HAwks led by Mike Bibby and Josh Smith hope to prove that a full season together was all they needed.
5. Maimi Heat 43-39 Not the 06 championship team but D Wade has carried this young teamto the post season after a 15 win season last year. This team is alot like the 2004 heat team with Lamar Odom and Caron Butler along side Wade.
6. Philadelphia 76ers 41-41 Young and dangerous. The boys frm Philly are ready for a playoff run. Andre Miller has been one of the most steady PG's since he's entered the NBA.The new A.I. can and will take over a ball game. With Sam Dalembert andand Thad Young provides the muscle inside.
7. Chicago Bulls 41-41 The baby Bulls are what I call them. Led by potential ROY Derrick Rose and Ben Gordon. No Loul Deng mean those 2 have to step up and so does the other young guns and veteran big Brad Miller.
8. Detroit Pistons 39-43 Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetroit BASKETBALL!!!!!!!!!!! is like hip hop it just ain't what it use to be. No Billips no Big Ben. Swapped for Allen Iverson who's not playing and big stiffs like Antoinio McDyess and Kwame Brown. Looks like their consecutive conference finals run is about to end.
Western Conference
1. L.A. Lakers 65-17 Reigning MVP Kobe Bryant and company war ready to defend the western crown. With Andrew Bynum Pau Gasol and a resurgent Lamar Odom. Looks like the zen master will lead his team to the Finals again.
2. Denver Nuggets 54-28 George Karl has done it again he has taken a team that wasn't supposed to be this good and he made them the second seed in the west. Chauncee Billups and Carmello Anthony seem to have meshed well and Billiups has added his peremeter D to the fold. If NeNe and Kenyon Martin get it together they may sneak through.
3 San Antonio Spurs 54-28 It's April which meand the Spurs have a shot. In the past 10 years they have won it every other year could this be their year again? Tony Parker gets better every year and Tim Duncan is well..... Tim Duncan so you can never count out the Spurs.
4 Portland Trail Blazers 54-28 The hottest team in the NBA coming into the postseason. Brandon Roy and company look to make a big run after missing the palyoffs a season ago.
5 Houston Rockets 54-28 Is this team cursed? Last year made a run without Yao and got bounced this year the won 54 games and Tracy McGrady has missed most of the season. If they get out of teh first round this year McGrady will be looking for a new team.
6. Dallas Mavericks 50-32 New coach no problem. The Mavs still make the playoffs and win 50 games. Dirk is stil a top 5 player in this leauge and Josh Howard is a great number 2. WIth Jason Kidd and his playoff experience they could pull an upset in the first round.
7. New Orleand Hornets 49-33 CP3 Dw5 and TC6 look to build on last years run but that will be tough coming from the 7 slot in the loaded west.
8 Utah Jazz 48-34 Jerry Sloan shoul d get a lifetime achievement award for his efforts. Deron Williams is one of the top PG's and with a healthy Boozer and Okur they hope for the best.

My Take On The NBA Awards
Now that the NBA regular season has ended the second season beging (technicaly the 3rd season if you count the pre season). Let's give out some awards.
MVP LeBron James Cleveland: If he doesn't win it this year then when will he ever win it? What else does he have to do walk on water? He is the best palyer in the NBA on the best team in the NBA. Plus 28,7 and 7 again should seal it. Wade is close but no cigar. They say the reason That LBJ didn't win last year is because his team was 45-37 and in 4th in the conference. So sorry D Wade not this year.
Rookie Of The Year Derrick Rose Chicago: If LBJ is the sure fire MVP then Rose is a shoe in for ROY. He is one of the reasons why the Bulls are in the playoffs. O.J. Mayo is a close second his NBA ready game is just that but his team just wasn't enough.
Coach Of The Year Mike Brown Cleveland: It may be a homer pick but he took a team from 45 wins to 66 wins with a top 5 offense and defense. SVG and Rick Adleman are close to Mike but this is Mikes year he should've won it in 07.
6th Man Of The Year Anderson Varejao Cleveland: Speant alot of time in the starting line up but so did MAnu Ginobily and alot of other 6th man of the year guys.

Rookie Of The Year Derrick Rose Chicago: If LBJ is the sure fire MVP then Rose is a shoe in for ROY. He is one of the reasons why the Bulls are in the playoffs. O.J. Mayo is a close second his NBA ready game is just that but his team just wasn't enough.
Coach Of The Year Mike Brown Cleveland: It may be a homer pick but he took a team from 45 wins to 66 wins with a top 5 offense and defense. SVG and Rick Adleman are close to Mike but this is Mikes year he should've won it in 07.
6th Man Of The Year Anderson Varejao Cleveland: Speant alot of time in the starting line up but so did MAnu Ginobily and alot of other 6th man of the year guys.

Tuesday April 14,2009. Happy 30th birthday to my sister Shae Ron.
House was just ok last night. A few things about the show
1.I thought it was funny when Cuddy sonned Cameron about re joining House's team. She should just go head and give house the buns.
2. I don't know about everybody else but I'm sick of Wilson. He is on my last damn nerves.
3. How about that ending with Amber appearing in House's dream?
24 once again showed why it's the best show on TV today. Elishia Cuthbert's return was expected but 24 fans know when she shows up something happens and last night was no exception.
Cavs clinch overall best record. Now what they should do for fan appreciation night is play the starters for a quarter then sit them. Who really cares about 40-1 at home? If they were going for 41-0 thats different. I was always told that a tie is like kissing your sister.
Will somebody tell the Indians that the season started last Monday.
Broadcasting lost one of its voices. Phillies play by play man and voice of NFL Films Harry Kalas passed away yesterday. Harry you will be missed by family, friends, and fans.
NFL schedules come out tonight at 7pm. Televising the schedule release what's next? Wait that might be everything now.
Will this finally be the season that DWTS gets it right?
Idol is back and Quentin Tarantino is the mentor. That is not a typo. How many albums has this dude sold? Dolly Parton was cool Smokey Robinson was cool so was Randy Travis they are artists that have sold millions of records. I know it's movie night but Q.T. mentoring someone on singing?
I am still pissed at WKYC. I missed the season finale of Friday Night Lights because the Indians resumed the home opener.
Speaking of friday night TV why is FOX doing Prison Break like this. I know they are ending the show but damn!!!! That's so un american.

April 13 Goodbye Cleveland
First and foremost I just wanna say that I hope everybody had a good Easter. I kicked it with the fam all weekend.I even went to church and it didn't cave in. LOL My niece is getting older she's talking in full sentences now and it off the hook. My nephew I'm gonna start calling Lil Obama. I know thats alot of pressure for an 8 year old but he's that smart. Now moving right along..........
Cavs win BIG over the Celts it was a fun game to watch. Does the city of Cleveland realize how special this team is?? Only championship teams make these kind of runs. 1 more win or 1 mor Lakers loss and the Cvas have the overall best record in the leauge. To me that really doesn't matter and I'll tell you all why..... Michael Jordan's Bulls won 6 of their 8 rings on the road twice they didn't have home court advantage. Since 1999 The Lakers won 2 rings on the road so have the Spurs and the Heat picked up their ring on the road. Think home court is the end all be all? Ask the 1999 Miami Heat, the 2002 Scaremento Kings and most recently the 2007 Dallas Mavericks and the 2007 Detroit Pistons it is really not that big of a deal.
Nba season ends but for some teams the palyoffs have already started the bottom of the east is heating up with Philly Detroit and Chicago fighting for 6,7 and 8. In the west 2 through 5 and 6 through 8. The last few days of the season are gonna be great. I love this time of year my year end awards are coming on hump day.
Indians won their first game of teh year but they got issues at least one of the problems isn't Pronk he's doing just fine i hope he keeps this up.
Manny Ramirez says he want to play for the Indians in 2010. Ok question? Didn't the 09 season just start why the hell is Manny and ESPN talking about himself and Jim Thome returning to the Indians?????
The Obamas go their dog his name is Bo and Ted Kennedy gave it to them. If I'm President Obama I wouldn't want anything Kennedy in the White House. I know Ted is his mentor but with that track record I would distance myself from.
Mike Vick is now in minimum security lock up in Atlanta. Hopefully this is the first steps in him getting released.
I don't watch Golf but I peeked in and out of the masters yesterday congrads to Angel Cabrera.
Finally everybody. I just want to say that in the next few weeks I'll be leaving Cleveland. I love my city but I gotta do what I gotta do. So goodbye Cleveland Hello Lexington Kentucky!!!!!!!

Cavs beat the Wizards to go to 38-1 at home. I'm ready to get the playoffs going.

Bynum returns to the Lakers tonite, Rondo palyed in Beantown everbody healthy all hads need to be on deck I don't need Beantown nut jobs and ESPN to tryna

Tiesday's Tidbits
Wow 2 days in a row? That must be some kind of a record for me. I guess it's because I'm no longer on the air. What does a brother have to do to get on the air these days? Heres what we have for Tuesday.
North Carolina beat Michigan State to win another title. Record crowd last night that's good for Detroit.
All the Tyler Hansborough haters out ther can hate somemore. He is the Tim Tebow of Clooege Hoops and I think he's gonna be a decent pro. If you feel differently I don't know what to tell you.
Tribe got spanked in the opeener. So what there are 161 more of these babies to go calm down. What Tribe fans need to worry about is why Pronk is batting 4th instead of 9th.
I like the Rangers going back to the red hats. I've always been a fan of red pro models. Maybe the Tribe should go back to the red socks and shoes.
Any House fans out there? Wasn't that the best, most shocking and saddest ep in the shows history? Can't believe Kutner did that to himself.
24 is in the middle of it's best season yet and Monday was not exception.(bloggers note Keifer Sutherland has signed on for at least 2 more seasons so Jack Bauer is not gonna die).
DWTS is boring now. It was cool at first but now I'm not interested although Cheryl Burke is sexy as hell and I'm rooting for Lil Kim do it for hip hop make everybody forget Master P.

Monday
Wow April is supposed to be showers not snow like we are getting in Cleveland. I love my city but hate it at the same time. Ok here goes Monday's thoughts.
New look for the blog I know alot of people said tehy couldn't see shit. Neither could I LOL. Hope Ya'll like it.
Wrestlemania 25 was cool (except Kid Rock) the match of the night was The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels. Man I was on the edge of my seat the whole match. I thought The Undertaker was dead when he flipped over the ropes and landed on his fucking head. Wrestling may be fake but some of it you can't fake. But like I said it was cool but it ended with a wimper. The Triple Threat Title match was just ok I hated Cena's entrance it was mad corny. Finally Triple H and Orton was not that good of a match.
Moving along Cavs won by 20. You fans and sportstalk show host who are pushing the panic button (Girlhammer) chill.
Baseball got started last night. Atl looks scary.
My predictions for teh season goes as follows. AL East Yankees Central Cleveland (I've had a change of heart) West Angels Wild Card Rays. (Sorry Saux not this year)
ALCS Yankees Vs Angels AL Champ Yankees.
NL East Mets Central Cubs West Dodgers Wild Card Phillies. NLCS Dodgers Vs Cubs NL Champ Dodgers
World Series Champs Yankees. For almost a half a billion dollars they better win.
Jadakiss album is hot keep doing ya thing Kiss.
Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame weekend was crazy I didn't go to anything but from what I heard it was off teh hook. Please make sure that event stays in Cleveland Petition protest boy cott it or something. Make sure we get that event every year!! Come on Cleveland stand up.
Prediction for the Championship Game tonite Tar Heels will win despite it being like a road game too much talent on North Carolina.
I ran into some old friends last night watching Wrestlemania and had a ball.
Finally Congrats to Micheal Jordan, David Robinson, John Stockton, Jerry Sloan and C Vivian Stringer for making it to the Hall Of Fame.

It's Tribe Time Are You Excited???
Yes crazy wonderful people it's April so you knoqw what that means. Plenty of rain and Baseball is back. The Cleveland Indians open up in a few days. There are so many questions about this team I don't even know where to start. First off I wanna know are you all excited? I am but then again I'm not. I've learned not to get too gassed about the Tribe. So here are a few questions I have about the Wahoo Warriors.
Starting Rotation: It goes as follows right now Cliff Lee, Fausto Carmona, Carl Pavano, Scott Lewis and Anthony Reyes. The first 3 I know well. Cliff or General Lee as I call him, is the reigning Cy Young winner in the AL Fausto had a great 07 but 08 was littered with injuries. Pavano cashed in with the Yankees but barely pitched because he was injured his whole stint in NYC. The bottom 2 honestly I don't know about nut I hear that Reyes has potential to be lights out. If all else fails Aaron Laffey and Jeremy Sowers are in the Minors and have pitching experience.
Bullpen: Kerry Wood is the Closer Jensen Lewis is the righty set up man and raffy Perez is the lefty set up man. Add Joe Smith, Raffy Bentancourt, Masa Kobiayshi and Zach Jackson and you have a pretty decent bull pen if everyone is healthy.
Projected Starting Lineup:
1. CF Grady Sizemore
2. 3B Mark DeRosa
3. DH Travis Hafner
4. 1B Victor Martinez
5. SS Jhonny Peralta
6. RF Shin-Soo Choo
7. LF Ben Francisco
8. C Kelly Shoppach
9. 2B Asdrubal Cabrera
I like the outfield the infield is a little suspect because DeRosa hasn't palyed third reguarly in a while. You have good back ups. I like Jamey Carroll and Josh Barfield. Ryan Garko has to come out of his funk he seemed to be in last year he may see some time in the outfield this year. Dellucci is hurt again and Trevor Crowe is the fourth outfielder.
Overall: If they stay healthy and play the way they played in the second half they will contend. But I don't think they can make the playoffs without winning the Central. So No Cntral Division Pennant No Playoffs because the WIld Card Winner will come out of teh AL East.

I am doing so so good blogging every day. Just a few blurbs for today not too long.
First and foremost Happy Birthday to the most important lady in my life my mother Carolyn Hawkins. Happy Birthday ma what's for dinner? lol
Browns are in the middle of the Cutler trade rumors but they won't get Cutler and they will lose Quinn or Anderson in the deal but will get draft picks in return. Hey I'll take that. They need the extra picks looks like they will need a wideout because Dante Stallworth has been charged with DUI manslaughter. He's facing like 4 to 15 years but he'll prolly do a year or 2 and get a long probation. Most people are concerned about him playing this thing became deeper tahn football when the guy died. That family is hurting and my heart goes out to the family of Mario Reyes. Browns fans before you judge let it play out in court. Also Mr. Commish let this thing play out in court too. Treat Dante like you treated Matt Jones who played damn near the whole season before he was suspended.

April Fools Day
OK it's April fools day big fucking deal. I haven't cared about this day since....... well never. So why an I listening to sportstalk radio this morning and they are playing April Fools jokes. Sure it goes over well but come on what is this the 1980's. Pete Frankklin, and Nev Chandler are crying right now looking and listening to these idiots. Like I said I'm gonna start calling these punks by name. Tony Rizzo I love his show and I know he has no control over his own show but those 2 punks Girlhammer and Hobo brings the value of the show down. Girlhammer talking about his jeans and his wack music. When I did my show we didn't play bubblegum pop shit we played songs that you might hear at the game not what I would hear on the radio. His takes totally have no substance to them and when he disagrees with some body he hangs up on them and says in his whiny annoying ass nasal tone "that was a terrible call". To All Of You Ignorant Cavs Fans
I just ran across this as I was cruising through NBA.com. It's Charlie V's NBA.com blog. He explains his side of the incident it goes as follows......
VAREJAO-ILGAUSKAS INCIDENT
Okay, now let’s get into some juicy stuff…. as you guys may all know by now, there was a little altercation that occurred in the Cavs game last week, which involved Anderson Varejao and Zydrunas Ilgauskas. Alright, here’s what happened: there was like 7-min remaining in the 4th quarter, we were down by like 3-pts. It was very intense game, especially with LeBron shooting the lights out, putting on a crazy show. I think Ilgauskas shot the ball, missed the shot, and Varejao got in good position to beat me to the rebound. I was mad at myself for getting out beat. I didn’t want him to go back up to make the shot, so I went to go grab his arm to prevent the put-back. I wasn’t even looking at him. I just reached out and went for the arm, but instead I grabbed his face accidently and swung my arm back. Now, I think Varejao over did it a little with the acting, but regardless it was a hard foul and I deserved the flagrant foul call. So I extend my apology to Varejao for the hard foul, I meant to grab your arm, not your face. Those who know me in the league know that I’m not that type of player. So that foul led Ilgauskas to react in a negative way and the guy just straight up went to my face. Obviously, when a game is that intense, and an unintentional hard foul occurs, your emotions can get the worst of you. Ilgauskas then got in my face, said some real nasty things, he shoved me slightly, here I’m thinking this dude is about to hit me because of the way he came at me, and I reacted at first by pushing him back, and then I did something that was very uncalled for out of heated reaction and defense, I grabbed him up. The whole thing could have been avoided, but one thing led to the other. It’s inexcusable and I was wrong. So I would like to publicly apologize to the Milwaukee & Cleveland fans for the wrong doings. Things like that are not part of the game and should be avoided. It’s important to learn how to control your emotions during intense game actions. I felt like because of my actions, which led to the ejection, cost us the game. I messed up. I need to learn from my mistakes, live and you learn. I feel awful about the whole thing, my bad guys.
He breaks down what happened and why he reacted the way he did and most importantly HE APOLOGIZED!!!!!! Yet I hear people bitching about Charlie and when they came to Cleveland after that he was booed. So I hope Ya'll read this and have a change of heart.

Wow 3 times this week and I have another entry. I'm coming along good with this. Also I'm a few chapters into my book too so wish me luck on that. I'm actually ahead of schedule I drew up a plan and as usual I'm not following it. Funny how shit goes huh? Here are my thoughts for the day.
Cavs get win 58. Better than the 91-92 team Congrats guys.
Bret Favre may be coming to Cleveland Browns Training Camp.................. As a visitor. Lol so funny. Who gives a you know what.
Sweet 16 begins tonite. I got Memphis over Mizzou, Nava over Duke (damn I'm betting against Duke) Pitt over Xaiver and UConn over Purdue. I went 15-1 last saturday hopefully I can keep it up.
Mike Vick is in the news again. Apparently he spent some pension money he wasn't suppose to Damn Mike you my dog (no pun intended) but you gotta chill dude.
American Idol had Motown night. Lil Rounds was good but the judges dogged her. PSA Idol is not for black people. Lil is the last one left and she will be gone soon. Megan Joy sould be going home but she is so damn fine she won't go anywhere.
Halle Berry was on Leno last night. I forgot how damn sexy she was she still got it. Sorry Michelle boo but Halle is still the hottest chick in the world.
There are rumors that Ransom and Hitchcock are planning a reunion.. Hope that happens we need a A-Team mixtape.

Hump Day
It's mid week and it really ain't nuthing going down. I finally started my book. I'm gonna make a series of them and call them the Don P Chronicles. I have the ideas already the first one is untitled right now and is about a rapper striving for fortune and fame and will do anything to get there. I just got it goin and hope I complete it so I can get to the other stories.
The Cleveland Browns have a QB dilema..... what else is new this goes back as far as the 1960's with Frank Ryand and Jim Ninowski. I could keep going with Phipps/Sipe, Bernie and Vinny and the biggest of all Couch and Holcomb but I won't not just yet. But I will say this I feel bad for D.A. because no matter what if he wins people are gonna hate him if he losees everybody will hate him. I don't get the infatuation with Brady anyway. So what the y pissed away a first round pick on him, and he's from Ohio, and went to Notre Dame. I thought this was Buckeye country and everybody hated Notre Dame well at least ya'll act like it. Most importantly I don't care that girls thinks that he is cute. Last time I checked just because you were handsome or sexy doesn't mean that you can play ball if that was the case I would be the greatest of all time.
Anywho I can't believe I just blogged that long about the damn Browns. The NCAA's continue tomorrow and hopefully I win the bracket challenge I'm in so I can go out to Vegas. Go Memphis! Something I looked at in college hoops is the more things change the more they stay the same. The teams on top may change but the coaches are the same. Rick Pitino, John Calipari, Coack K, Roy Williams, always have teams at the top only one that hasn't changed schools is Coach K.
BTW I Overhauled the blog as u all can see The Halo theme is a good look. It actually jumped out at me plus I got tired of Gizmo staring at me.(lol)
Lil Kim is still around on Dancing With The Stars. Yeah I watch that shit can't help it. I got a thing for Kimmy. Don't know why I just do.
If Shawn Johnson wasn't so young I would say something about her but I won't. Why couldn't Nastia Lukin do the show?
Obama sonned that reporter last night I almost fell off my bed laughing.
Idol has a Motown theme tonite. Finally a theme where the remaing blacks on the show can get loose...... Too bad it's only one sister left Lil Rounds babygirl you better shut shit down tonite.

oI hat Monday's like a muhfucka man. But I gotta blog so fuck it.
My weekend was relaxing as fuck I'm doing great in my tournament bracket I'm actuall winning in one of them.
Ohio State Chokeyes HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
CSU beat Wake Forrest like they stole something.........
........ Then Arizona beat CSU like they stole something. Not mad at the Vikings just should've picked them in the first round is all.
Dayton won then they lost. Big up to the Flyers in Western Ohio.
Xaiver is the last Ohio team standing least they didn't choke like Ohio State.
Cavs remain hot this is their year I can feel it . They have every thing they need to raise the trophy this year.
Charles Barkley is at it again. Come on Cleveland what are ya'll getting mad for? It ain't like Chuck is lying. I LIVE HERE and think it's a piece of shit. It ain't nuthing here. Now how many of ya'll would step to Chuck if you saw him in the street? NONE.
I don't give a fuck what President Obama said on Leno. Besides you could barely hear him over the laughing crowd. White people ya'll need to sit down STFU and just accept that Obama is the BOSS!!!!!

I'm finally getting ready to start my book. I have a plan to write like 4 or 5. One of course is the Bandwagon Fan. The others I'm gonna call the Don P Chronicles. Be on the look out for them.
CBS did a spectacular job on their coverage of the tourney this weekend. Clark Kellogg dropped the best line of the weekend. I think somebody snatched a rebound off the rim. Clark said teh rebound was "ammonia strong". Only a Cleveland dude could come up with that one.
Gus Johnson wasn't himself he only got excited a few time and that was during the last game of the day. I hope he does nailbiter games next weekend.

NCAA tournament started: I won 15 out of 16 games on day 1 (fuck Clemson) I'm in like 5 different contest the one I really got a chance to win I prolly will get screw out of.

CSU Is Going To The Big Dance Now Ya'll Wanna Pay Attention
Oh Cleveland My city of Cleveland. Home of the hater lake effect snow, and front running fans. The Cleveland State Vikings finally climbed Mount Butler in the Hinkle Mountains last night and punched their ticket to the big dance by winning the Horizon Leauge Tournament. Funny thing is everybody wants to act like they are excited about this. Like they have been rooting them on all season. Where the hell were you people in the beginning? There aren't many fans here if there were then the Wolstein Center would've been packed every game this year. But it wasn't. You people screaming GO Vikes are probaly the same people who showed up at the Q last December rocking Scarlett and gray when CSU played OSU.
This city has more front runners than any city. This is my city and I love Cleveland but some of you guyus are front runners. Fans and media too. If you've been watching all season you know this team was gonna make the dance. You would've know that J'Nathan Bullock and Ced Jackson would will this team to the tourney. Some of them dudes don't know jack shit only reason they on is because they have relatives already in the game. Well how about this? One of ya'll so called show host go one on one with me. Bye Bye K2/ Announcing My NFL Fan Free Agency
I have been a Cleveland Browns Fan for as long as I can remember. As a 4 year old I remember Crying after Ernest Byner fumbled at the one in the 87 AFC Championship game. I remember having chest and stomach pains during football season and during Browns games. I remember being upset in 1995 when Art Modell picked up and moved them in the middle of the season. I remember being gassed when they returned in 1999 having a 99 Browns jersey. Thinking Tim Couch was gonna lead them to the promise land. Then reality struck now here we are 10 years 5 Head Coaches 4 General Managers 13 Starting Quarterbacks later and they STILL suck. I ask myself everyday why am I rooting for this team year in and year out? Why am I living and dying on a team who palys like garbage. I was a die hard fan of the Browns until today. They traded their best offensive threat out of town.
Kellen Winslow Jr was my favorite Cleveland Brown. Why you ask? not because I was on the Cover of the Plain Dealer with him on July 26 2006 laughing (although that is part of it). He was a warrior, a gladiator a soldier on the football field. Yeah his attitude was shitty but that how the Miami Hurricanes get down. The have attitude that they rule the world and the NFL and who could argue with that? They have a top player at damn near every position on the field. Ed Reed is the best defensive PLAYER in the NFL Ray Lewis altohgh up there in age is STILL feared by everyone. I could go on but you all have eyes and can see that the NFL is littered with players from The U. Back to my point K2 was productive in his time as a Brown, he actually WANTED to play in Cleveland. Who actually wants to play and live in this city anymore? He was one of the few who wanted to be here. He was productive if he was healthy or not. 219 catches 2,4589 yards and 11TDs is great for a guy who played the way he did.
I blogged a few months ago that K2 would not be in Cleveland in 09. I believed it but i didn't believe it and now that it has happened I'm pissed off. Look at what he's been through. The hold out in his rookie year, him breaking his leg covering an onside kick (thanks Butch), the motorcycle crash (thanks Star Boys), the staph infections (thanks Cleveland Clinic, Phil Savage, and the dude who sent him the text telling him to cover it up) that occured on more than one occasion. I really hope he goes on to have a Hall Of Fame career so dumb ass Browns fans can say "why did they trade him?" those are the ones today saying "good i hated him anyway". The Browns and Bucs play in 2011 in Tampa and I HOPE K2 is healthy and he has the game of his career against the Browns.
Right now me and the Browns are separated. (shout out to Tony Rizzo) I'm actuall thinking about finding a new team to root for. I am like 10 seconds away from filing for fan free agency. Why should I sink myself in this team again? With the ManGENIUS and Kokiena running the show. So I'm gonna approach this like I don't care. I Now announce myself just a casual NFL fan. For now. I'm not jumping off the bandwagon but I have one foot on and one foot off. I'm just soooooooo upset right now that i don't know what else to do.

Cleveland Radio Ain't What It Use To Be
There was a time when listening to the radio in Cleveland was actually enjoyable. You had stations that everyone would listen to and talk about like WZAK, WJMO, WERE, WWWE, WMMS and WHK. You had your legendary jocks and shows too. There too many fro me to name. Shit was all good back in the day. Now shit is bad, all bad when I turn on my radio at home I listen for like 2 minutes and I'm totally turned off. Shit sucks man. Everything is fucking sindicated. Every morning show os broadcast from New York City and they suck eggs. A bunch of corny ass stereotypical white boys with fake corny names like Spaz (ain't that corny?) that do corny skits. The few morning shows that were here those guys left. I never listened to them so I don't miss them. Even the black shows are stereotypical.
The sports talk stations are even worse. They are too scared to speak the truth. Plus I thought the local sports guys actuall had to be local sports guys. Not these fucking transplants who come into Cleveland and actually try to dog on my city. Nah fuck that. Some shit just shouldn't be. You got a new breed coming up ( I lump myself into the new breed) that ain't scared to be themselves. Not afraid to keep it real. But you got these tweprs who get it all handed to them while me and this new breed struggle. Can Sonebody PLEASE get this trash off the radio.
Thats why my shows are gonna be just strait talk and interviews NO PHONE CALLS. I hate you people who call into these shows 15 times a week thinking you can do what these guys get paid millions to do. This is just the way I feel ya'll. Put me side by side with the mopes on air right now and I guarentee I will shut them down word to Joe Namath. These dudes can't touch me. Being born and raised in Cleveland I'm embarassed. I'm Cleveland to the heart I bleed this city and it hurts listening to this local garbage. With the exception of Mike Trivisono and Kenny Roda ( who' s from Pittsburgh but I like him) Shit needs to be scrapped.

I wanted so bad to fall back on dogging the fans in this town but Jay Z said it "when I try to pull out you pull me right back in". Now our Cleveland Cavs are 44-11. They won by 15 last night and by 21 over the team that has dominated the Central division for the entire decade. Theyt are 26-1 at home, and their magic number to clinch the Central Division for the first time since the Miracle At Richfield year of 1976 is 11. But all this town wants to talk about is the damn Cleveland Browns.
It's to a point where it's aggravating, you have one team playing and playing great (Cavs), one team season about to start (Indians open up Cactus Leauge today) and the other coming off of a losing season where they fired their Head Coach (do I even need to say who?) Why gas yourself about the sorry ass Browns only to be let down in week 6 or whenever their bye week is? Why not sho wthe same passion and energy for the first place Cleveland Cavs? If LeBron leaves in 2010 (which he isn't) the Q will empty out because the Cavs will be losers. Which means Dan Gilbert may move the team. But will you all go down to congress and cry about it? This one is another old blog entry about that wack ass cowher09.com site and it turns out I was right on the money with this one.
You all should know me by now, my views and opinions especially on the fans of our great city. Usually i don't go off giving people free promotion but this site has been getting burn everywhere else so here goes. To the people who started Cowher09.com I have a question Are you kidding me? Are you out of your rabbit mind? What do you think you are gonna accomplish by doing this? Nothing my friend. Ok so you get 73,000 signatures then what are you going to do? Walk up to Randy Lerners office and DEMAND him to take a look at Bill Cowher? HA don't make me laugh. Fist of all you don't demand a billionaire to do anything. Do you think the Lerner family got to where they got today by listening to people who DEMAND them to do anything? Don't think so.
I'm just puzzled by some of you fans. I've come to meet some fans who I can have an intelligent conversation with. Then there are the idiot fans who get drunk and try to watch and talk football. Do me a favor stick to beer pong and cornhole because football is not you. What is the point for this site brother? To get some shine to make some money? I know the economy is dow and we are in a recession but WOW. There are other things you could've done. Bars are always hiring, so is Wal-Mart and Home Depot. Fans have stooped to a whole notha' level (thats slang for you slow people). Just breezing through this site makes my face hurt looking at what some people are saying. "People are paying 75 dollars to go to the game and they don't have jobs they deserve better" WHAT??? Why are you spending 75 dollars to go to a game and you are unemployed? When you can just do what other unemployed people do STAY HOME!!!!!!!! They don't deserve anything but a kick in the rear end. You would rather go to a football game than feed your family you don't deserve a darn thing get a grip fans. Soul To Soul had a song once and it says and i quote "back to life back to reality". At 25 years old I'm old enough to know better but I'm young enough not to care. Being a Cleveland sports fan has been quite an experience for me. Drives and fumbles and shots. (oh my!!!!). I remember crying as a kid when Byner fumbled at the 1. I recall watching M.J. (Jordan) hang in the air as Craig Ehlo fall hopelessly to the ground. I also recall Edgar Renteria's little flubber in the 97 World Series. But you know what Cleveland sports fan? IT HAPPENED NOW GET OVER IT!!!!
For far too long you have been living in the past and are always looking for the worst to happen. Thus developing a losers mentality. Pessimism is the worse kind of attitude to have. As grown ups if you have that attitude you know what? You have loser kids who have loser kids that have pessimistic attitudes and loser mentalities. Pretty soon we have a city full of losers. TRICKLE DOWN EFFECT!!!!!!!!! This city used to be proud, what happened? We are lucky to have pro sports teams. Ok so they may lose, but like Manny Ramirez said "its not the end of the world". If your life depends on whether the Browns, Cavs and Indians win or lose, YOU MY FRIEND ARE PATHETIC.
Back to my point of living in the past. Its been that way forever. Browns fans are expecting to see Paul Brown on the sidelines, HE'S NOT HERE!!! He hasn't coached this team in 45 years. Jim Brown hasn't run the ball since 65, The Kardiac Kids have grown up, and Kosar and company have moved on, SO SHOULD YOU ALL. Why can't the new Browns get this kind of love? They went 10 and 6 last season so why are they getting penalized by fans saying the schedule was easy. They played who was in front of them it's not their fault. 10 wins is 10 wins! PESSIMISM. If this was the Browns of the 80's you would be dancing in the streets. Why isn't there a Derek Derek song? I bet a Brady Brady song will be out whenever he takes over the starting spot.
In closing I just want to say get behind the teams and stay behind them. Stop complaining and going back the next week. Browns fans stop making dry threats about not going to the games and on Sunday's you in the muny lot grilling brats. Don't like what they are doing fine stay home. Matter of fact give away your ticket and don't ever go back. There are plenty of people (including me) that would love to go. I am sick of hearing the whining then seeing 78,000 butts in the seats. The Fakeness Of The Industry
This is me in rare Don P Form. As you all know I am no longer on the air. I have been replaced by two dudes who are absolutely wack. They sound like every other garbage Morning Show outfit out there. Two guys who fit the mold of every P.D. out there. Fake ass wannabe Howard Stern, fart joking, wannabe manly, maricon muthafuckas. Please somebody give me a break. Word to Nell Carted (G.B.T.D.) If radio continues to let this shit slide then people like me will be forever regulated as the behind the scenes guy. I was told that a potential advertiser heard me one morning on one of my tirades and he wanted no part of us. It was because of my "delivery" is what I was told yeah fucking right. I'm not stupid. Homeboy didn't want to put his money behind a brotha that is gonna keep it real.
Why do blacks have to dumb ourselves down to be accepted? Why can't we be ourselves? Why do we have to be the "safe brotha"? Its so bad that I'm in an industry that isn't built for me. Yup I said it the broadcasting industry isn't built for black people to be behind the mic unless it's an urban station. The brothats that have made it into the non urban stations are the "safe brothas" not cats like me.
I'm only keeping it real saying exactly what's on my mind. I wanna talk sports MY WAY!!!! Fuck these privileged ass white boys who get a pass because their dads were legends. I wanna throw my lil slang in it. Not be politically correct and let out a fucking fart joke. That's why I'm taking a step back from this shit. Tired Of The B.S.
I'm a week shy of 26 but still I seem to be in some bullshit. Why the fuck do i make the choices I make? Why can't I live drama free? That was my new years resolution to stay drama free advance my career and stop smoking cigarettes. (Meat Loaf had a song called 2 out of 3 ain't bad). No matter what i do I can't shake the bullshit. Jealous niggas sending me threats long distance. Don't know how long my relationship is gonna last because it's so rock right now. We both on different wavelengths. I'm one place she's in another. It's bad enough we are in different places but every conversation we have is an argument and frankly its bothering me.
So what should I do ya'll should I stay or should I let it be like Paul McCartney. It's not a simple situation there is alot at stake here. Things that I'm not gonna indulge at this time. Let's just leave it at alot at stake. I've been happy for a minute but now it's like shit ain't the same. Is it me? Of course not I'm a cocky son of a bitch but I'm willing to step back if i feel like I'm doing wrong.
Am I really ready to retire? Yes I am. I have no doubts that I'm ready to settle and chill the fuck out. I can't let small shit like jealous ass niggas get in the way of me being happy. So that means I have to tell myself to be easy and not worry about people. So that means hit the studio and vent that shit out in the booth.
